For her work, she assessed the security threats facing the nation and performed classified investigations about suspect foreigners. As a member of the FBI Asha acquired experience in electronic surveillance interview and interrogation methods using firearms as well as the use of force to kill. Asha graduated from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and has been granted a Fulbright to study constitution changes in Bogota. She received her law degree from Yale Law School where she was a Coker Fellow for Constitutional Law and served as a law clerk to the Honourable Juan R. Torruella on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in San Juan Puerto Rico. Her admissions into the State Bar of New York in 2003 and Connecticut and Connecticut in 2003, in 2003 and Connecticut, respectively, is a testimony of her expertise in law. Asha has been a contributor to op-eds and opinion pieces in The New York Times The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post among others and is currently a legal contributor for ABC News. She also serves as a member of Just Security's board of directors, as well as members of the Council of Foreign Relations.
